COVID-19 Closure - Effecting All Ohio Schools
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has extended the closure of all Ohio schools through May 1, 2020.  New instructional packets will be mailed to each student on Monday, April 6th, and will need to be completed by May 1st.  Please keep your student's current completed packet at your home until further notice.  Also, the Grab and Go food bag program will continue at Chesapeake Elementary, operating on its present schedule.  Thank you.

Non-Traditional Instruction Days - 2019-2020

What is an NTI Day?
 

An NTID or Non-Traditional Instruction Day allows Chesapeake Union Exempted Village School District to provide non-traditional instruction to students on days when Students are unable to attend due to a district wide closing. On the designated NTI Days, students will have assignments (either online or paper packets) that provide continuation of learning, review, and standardized core focus.  Depending on the student’s grade level, the assignments may contain lessons from reading/language arts, mathematics, social studies, and writing along with other curricular lessons. Lessons are supported with online resources but can be completed without access to the Internet.
