"Making the Grade"
"Making the Grade" is a documentary that was produced by the collaborative effort of Chesapeake High School's honors history and English classes of 2010.  The students began with a premise that they wanted to show an appreciation for, and demonstrate the importance of, education in our ever changing world.  They interviewed students from Croatia, China, Japan, Africa, and various other countries around the world about their educational experiences.  Local busness people were also interviewed as to what skills students need to compete in today's economy.  Another aspect of the documentary was to talk with Chesapeake High School students as to their feelings about school, and former Chesapeake graduates who dropped out of high school or college, and later returned to school to complete their education.  With the help of Jordan Morrison and the video class, "Making the Grade" became a proud presentation of the Chesapeake High school class of 2010.
